Why we give.
We believe everything we have comes from God and therefore ultimately belongs to Him. Giving is first and foremost an issue of our hearts. We give to expand the work of the Church because the Church is the hope of the world. The invitation to join God in His redemptive work in the world cultivates a sense of stewardship in us.
Scripture teaches us that 10% is the baseline standard of giving (Leviticus 27:30). Giving the “first fruits” of our income to the church puts God first in our lives and creates an innate level of faith, thanksgiving and love for others.
When you donate to First Covenant, your gift is treated with integrity. All resources at First Covenant Church are used according to a budgetary strategy developed by our Leadership Teams and approved annually by our members. Our annual budget is fully transparent and is available upon request.
