Hi! My name is David McCowan and it is great to be ministering here in this community and church family. To let you know a little about myself, I grew up in both Maine and Boston, MA. Following high school, I attended Gordon College, served in the United States Marine Corps, and ultimately graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Upon graduation from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with a degree in theological studies, I attended North Park Theological Seminary and received an M.Div. Since 1985 I have served as a pastor in northern Michigan, Massachusetts, Illinois, Kansas, and have also served as a college campus pastor and funeral home chaplain.

My wife Venessa and I have two children who are at Kansas State University. Along with spending time with my family and getting to know other people, I enjoy running, hunting, jet-skiing, body surfing in the ocean when I can get there, refereeing high school basketball games, and cooking. Oh, and I love cheesecake and a good piece of pie!
