Advancing God’s Kingdom Through Women
Women Ministries equips women to grow, serve and reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We connect women in transformational relationship and unite them in Christ to impact our world. Through Ministry opportunities, leadership development resources, and inspirational events, Women Ministries continues its legacy in the Covenant of mobilizing women in ministries of evangelism and compassion and to advocate for women and children.
First Covenant Woman's Friendship Circle has meetings from September through May, the third Thursday evening at 7 p.m. of each month. The meetings are held in Covenant women's homes with a co-hostess. At the meetings we have devotions, guest speakers on various topics, short business meeting, prayers and friendship sharing.
Our goal is to give financial support to our missionaries. In 2009 we raised over $4,600 to support these efforts. Our key fundraiser is the Swedish Christmas Coffee held in December. Donations were given to Covenant World Relief, Covenant Women's Project for the Education of young women, and Covenant Missionary. We support church members needs as well. We invite you to join us!
